Hi Friend!
I know you have a story to share with the world, and I’m here to help you accomplish that dream of being a storyteller. But before we get into that, I want you to do one thing:
Stand up, put your shoulders back, hands on your hips, and say it with me:
“I AM A WRITER!”
Because if you want to be a writer, you likely already are a writer. You’ve probably got journals, sticky notes, notebooks full of poems, or a file on your computer filled with your words just waiting to see the light of day.
I’m here to help you make that happen, whether you just dared to consider writing a book or you have already started the process.
Here are just a few things I can help you with:
Brainstorming: Whether you need to figure out a gap in your plot or character’s motive, what your personal brand should be, or how to get started on your writing journey, I’m full of thought-provoking questions and inspiring considerations.
Learning: As a lifelong learner myself, I’m always building a knowledge base so I can readily assist anyone who needs to improve in an area of their writing or find an answer to a question that won’t leave them alone.
Editing: One thing every writer needs is a professional edit of their manuscript before submitting it to an agent or publisher for consideration. I have over a dozen years helping authors like you make their stories stand out.

Alycia Morales is a well of information when it comes to all things writing. I’ve known her for years, attended and taught many conferences with her, and watched her grow as a writer and a professional. She brings a lot of knowledge to the table, and you won’t go wrong in learning what she has to offer.

Alycia Morales uses her editing skills to add a professional touch to fiction and nonfiction manuscripts. Not only does Alycia have an innate knowledge of grammar and punctuation, but she also contributes to content with a focus on the writer’s voice and genre. I’ve recommended her to several writers and will continue to do so!

Over the past decade, I’ve helped over 100 authors tell their stories, both fiction and nonfiction.
Some of my clients have been traditionally published, while others have self-published (aka “indie” published)
their books. Many have won awards for their writing, both prior to publication and after.
Below are a few who have offered to share their testimony of working with me.
Thank you for taking the time to consider my services!

Editing Service
I would highly recommend Alycia. She is consistent in follow-through and response, concise and uncritical. She also has a way about her that put me at ease even with her positive and constructive advice. She is creative in offering ideas to expand the original thought of your work-making it much better in the end than beginning, without changing the heart of what you are trying to express to your readers. Nothing slipped by her!
– LaTan Roland Murphy, Speaker/Vocalist/Freelance Writer and Award-winning co-author of God’s Provision in Tough Times

Alycia was a delight to work with. Her suggestions did not change my story, just enhanced it. I was so pleased working with Ms. Morales.
– Elaine Marie Cooper,
multiple award-winning author of Fields of the Fatherless, including the 2014 Selah Award for Fiction Youth/Young Adult

Editing Service
I feel very blessed to have Alycia not only as my editor, but as a mentor. She has gone above and beyond to help my novels reach their full potential.
She has taught me everything I know about crafting a novel, from mini grammar lessons to the plot and character arcs. She always takes the time to answer any questions I have. She’s done everything to ensure my books would be ready to self-publish, including walking me through the self-publishing process.
I couldn’t have asked for a better person to work with!
– Cara Heroy, author of the Ranger Pearl series

Coaching Service
Two years ago, I wrote a historical fiction novel without updated knowledge of creative writing essentials like “show, don’t tell” and “deep POV.” Despite my MA in literature, I hadn’t learned
the evolving rules of fiction writing. After submitting my pages to professionals, the advice was clear: join a writing group. But I lacked the time.
Then, I met Alycia, who critiqued my work and taught me how to fix its weaknesses. Like a private tutor, she guides you through processes, offering nurturing, focused coaching that accelerates progress in the most efficient and cost-effective way for time-challenged people.
– Daryl Lott, author

Coaching Service
When God tasked me with writing a book about my time as a special needs parent, I I wrote on and off for 18 years. I took the manuscript as far as I could, but it read like a badly written family newsletter. Alycia’s knowledge and insight were crucial in paring down the manuscript and focusing the message. She was considerate of all suggestions I made, explaining why some wouldn’t work and agreeing to others, which she then helped me work into my book.
Her network of professionals also proved beneficial as I got to the publishing process, such as hiring a cover designer.
At the end of the process, I had a completed book that was professional in appearance and content. I know without Alycia’s help I couldn’t have done it. If I decide to write another book, she will be the first person I contact.

best-selling author of Rock Bottom: Gathering Gratitude for God in the Difficulties of Life

Her genuine care, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence are so obvious. She was patient, encouraging, and always ready to answer questions. If you want a true professional with a heart for authors, Alycia is the perfect choice.
